BEHIND THE MVMT

The Story

Mend Mvmt was founded in 2017 by Kristin Dungee in New York City.

Mend Mvmt is an exclusive, boutique style studio specializing in private and small group sessions. Our studio's intimate setting provides a serene and luxurious experience so members can feel safe, supported, and seen throughout their wellness journey.

 At Mend Mvmt, our main focus is holistic pilates, focusing on breath-work, mindfulness, and movement. Our holistic method of pilates focuses less on attaining the perfect body and more on embracing the extraordinary bodies that do so much for us daily. Our holistic approach to private training incorporates the principles of “Yang Sheng” meaning nourishing life. Our hope is to use movement to improve the shen (mental state), strengthen the Qi, (body energy) and enhance the overall well-being essence.
